My last post, detailing the small number of books I sold, was one of my most popular posts.
In an interesting update, sales have picked up over the past week.
While the numbers are still small, about ten percent of my overall sales have happened in the past seven days (I’ll do another “Book Numbers” recap beginning of January).
What’s most interesting to me is every sale over the past week has been the paperback version.
With that in mind, for today only, I’ve cut the price of the paperback to the lowest Amazon will allow, $4.50 (down from $7.99).
It makes a great gift for the basketball fan in your life. Or the person who loves to travel. Or people wanting to know more about the benefits of meditation and how we learn 😊.
If you want to support my work over the past year, my posts and podcasts about self-publishing, creating, and coaching, the best way is to buy my book.
And, if I’m being one hundred percent honest, I’d love to see Zen reach #1 on the “Basketball Coaching” chart again.
So please buy a copy and give it to a friend, send it to your cousin, or donate it to your library.
And today is the final day to order the paperback and have it arrive in time for Christmas🎄.
My next post, in early January, will be a write-up of books sold in December (hopefully, with today’s post, the uptick will continue).
Positive Coaching
My four-part podcast series on positive coaching is going well.
You can subscribe to the podcast here: Apple/Spotify
Episode 1 was with mindfulness coach Greg Graber (@GregGraber), who works with the men’s basketball teams at Georgia Tech, Marquette, and LSU, among others.
Episode 2 was with Dr. Greg Sullivan (@GSSphd), Director of the Positive Coaching and Athletic Leadership Program (@CoachingMizzou) at the University of Missouri (@Mizzou).
Episode 3, dropping this Thursday, is a conversation with Chris Sullivan (@CoachSullyDU), Head Coach of the Denison University Men’s Basketball team (@DenisonHoops).
And Episode 4, dropping on the 30th, is with Coach Nick Hauselman of BBALL BREAKDOWN (@bballbreakdown).
Last week I was a guest on Nick’s podcast. We had a great time tearing down the traditional model of coaching.
That’s all I have for today.
The rising Covid numbers are concerning and it feels like we’re back in March of 2020.
Please stay safe, mask up, and get boosted.

P.S. Part of the reason for the uptick in sales, I think, is I’ve been interviewed on three podcasts in the past week, each with relatively large audiences. For those who want to hear me talk coaching, writing, and self-publishing, I’ve put together a list of all my media “hits.”
